Hope everyone is enjoying Labor Day. I thought I would post a few photos for the blog today....

5. For a little diversion we took the girls to Springfield, IL last weekend to see the home of Abraham Lincoln. Here are the girls being themselves at the hotel pool on the Friday night we arrived in Springfield.
6. Shot taken with the wax (?) figures in the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. This museum was incredible and worth the trip to Springfield. If you are ever in the area, you should stop by.

11. Our new home in Nauvoo, IL. This is an old farm house built in 1910. This will be our home for the foreseeable future. We love it. It has great character and charm.

17. Hillary Corbett Dolder came to visit us over the weekend. It was great to catch up with her and meet her husband's family. This picture is of all of them with us in the farmhouse.
18. Barb's sister Brenda and her family came to visit over the weekend. The girls had a blast with their cousins. They are all cute girls. Barb's parents are also here. I miss you all so much and seeing pictures of you all just made me miss you even more. Looks like you haven't missed a beat and everyone is really enjoying their time out there. And barb I hate that I have to be watching you tummy grow on the internet. so lame. But just the same you look pretty darn cute. I love and miss you.

absolutely love your little house and am super jealous of being able to work all day with church stuff and live in it and around it. Amazing. Post some pics of the inside of that adorable house! And Barb you are soooo cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt feels so good to see your pictures. I love your new home. Please do take pictures of the inside so we can all see. The girls look very happy.... much to my relief. Maybe Scott and I will be able to make it out to visit someday. Be sure to keep posting...especially when the new baby comes. I'm sure I speak for others as well when I say...we all feel a little ripped off that we have to miss this wonderful event in your lives of having a baby. :)
